Unison Choruses Canada is a national not-for-profit organization that acts as a hub for Canadian 2SLGBTQIA+ choruses. Unison facilitates connections between choruses and provides resources to help choruses with administration, fundraising and programming.
Twenty years after Vancouver last hosted the Unison Festival, we’re heading back to this vibrant West Coast city in May 2026. Over four days, 27 choirs and more than 1,000 singers from across the country will gather for Canada’s largest 2SLGBTQIA+ choral festival, celebrating music, community, and connection. Concerts at the landmark Queen Elizabeth Theatre will showcase the diversity and artistry of our choral movement, from small ensembles to massed Festival Choruses. The 2026 theme, Music Healing Spirit, highlights the power of singing to restore, uplift, and inspire. Vancouver’s natural beauty and welcoming spirit will provide a perfect backdrop for this unforgettable celebration. Unison Festival 2026 is proudly hosted by the Vancouver Men’s Chorus, and supported by participating local choirs, Out In Harmony and Rainbow Chorus of New Westminster
