QUIRK-E at Dyke March Festival Sat August 1st

Saturday, August 1st, 3:00 – 5:00 PM
Britannia 55+ Centre, 1661 Napier Street, Vancouver
One block north of Grandview Park

Facilitated by Blair Brienza

QUIRK-E will light up the Vancouver Dyke March Festival with our raucous Hockey Fans skit, inspiring queer history stories and a moving poem by a trans youth. Join us in the air-conditioned comfort of the cooling space in the Britannia 55+ Centre. There will be chairs, tables, fans, and universal washrooms. This space is wheelchair accessible and will be mask-mandatory throughout the day. QUIRK-E will perform from 3-4 PM followed by a 4-5 PM talk back facilitated by the dynamic host of Queer Poetry Open Mic, Blair Brienza. You might get a new friend, a new handmade bookmark or a new perspective. Come find out!
