Despite the threat of rain on July 17, about 200 people attended QMUNITY’s Aging with Pride celebration in the outdoor park beside Barclay Manor in Vancouver’s West End. Everyone applauded entertainment on the main stage while enjoying BBQ hot dogs and soft drinks. They danced with queer joy and strengthened community ties by touring the booths of participating organizations. Quirk-e was there with a table, giving away bookmarks, pencils, rainbow tattoo transfers and good will.
