Adventures in Queerland, like Alice’s adventures in Wonderland, took us to places both new and familiar. A raucous women’s hockey game, a stampede on the tundra, a child’s birthday party, a summer’s picnic on the sandbanks, the Greyhound bus information booth – all were seen through the eyes of QUIRK-E elders from the long the view of queer experience. On June 6, 2026, Surrey Pride and the Museum of Surrey (MOS) hosted this fourth annual presentation to a full house. The catered reception that followed gave everyone an opportunity to build connections and feel the joy that is Pride. The guests and performers were game to join together for an exuberant photo.
