Students Invite QUIRK-E

QUIRK-E members Garth McIver and Cyndia Cole were delighted to share stories and a poem with students attending the GSA club at Van Tech Secondary on December 5, 2025. When we asked what they liked about coming to the meetings, the youth told us they valued a space to be themselves, to feel a sense of community and to learn. We were impressed with their sophisticated understanding of our writings, as well as by their sincerity and confidence. Everyone had fun opening the snacks, zines and treat bags. Big thanks to Cora and Frankie for the invitation!
