Pat Hogan and the Queer Elders in QUIRK-E were there at the creation of pioneering LGBTQ+ events and groups. Based on their efforts, these have taken root and blossomed into today’s thriving communities. As Queer Trailblazers, ten of us shared images and stories on June 7, 2024 at the Museum of Surrey theatre. Rainbow Seniors of the Surrey Pride Society sponsored a lively reception afterward to continue our community-building fun.
