Quirk-e members performed three of our elder’s stories at this QMUNITY Seniors event
We shared lunch, entertainment and readings in celebration of queer writers in Vancouver
at the Sylvia Hotel Restaurant, a beautiful setting overlooking Sunset Beach.

Annie Newman moves the listeners with her story Fatigue, sharing vulnerable moments in her recovery from breast cancer.

Pat Hogan peruses the new Angles zine which commemorates the queer history of Angles newspaper.
Pat also performed AGEING: A RAP while the audience joined in on the chorus with delight.

Angles was originally published in the 1980s and 1990s.
QMUNITY published an October 2024 edition including reprints from years past.
