Quirk-e members have collectively designed covers for the books we publish.

Together We Stand: Queer Elders Speak Out was self-published. The cover was created by graphic designer Carla White. Val Innes and Don Martin provided several concepts to the group and they picked this one. 2020

Basically Queer: An Intergenerational Introduction to LGBTQA2S+ Lives was published by Peter Lang for use as a text book in classrooms. The cover was designed by the publisher, but the concept was collectively decided by the group. 2017

The Bridge Generation cover was designed by Quirk-e member Judy Fletcher at the request of the group. It references Edvard Munch’s painting The Scream, but also alludes to the link our members have between the experiences of their youth and young people today. 2014

Quirk-e Collections Volume 5 book cover was created by Judy Fletcher using paper doll shirt cut-outs. Like a closet full of T-shirts the stories in this anthology cover many styles, patterns, and colours. 2010
