Harris Taylor

Harris Taylor

Harris Taylor was a founding member of Quirk-e. She is a writer, documentary filmmaker, and television producer who has contributed programming to Northern Native Broadcasting, Yukon, CBC North, and Vision TV since 1991.

Having lived and worked in remote locations in Northern BC, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut, Harris developed a deep and abiding respect for the land and Canada’s First Peoples. Much of her work has focused on the Aboriginal people, cultures, and histories across Canada’s North, as well as disability issues and queer life experience. In her travels, Harris always takes note of the fishing spots that will someday lure her back for another adventure.
