Quirk-e helped develop a series of posters and public service videos to raise awareness about abuse of LGBTQ2S+ elders. We were writers, actors, and models. The series dealt with several forms of abuse including emotional, physical, sexual, and financial. There was also a set of fact sheets that explained the risks and offered resources–see the Simon Fraser University Gerontology Research Centre for the details: https://www.sfu.ca/lgbteol/lgbt-elder-abuse-2.html
This was a joint project wtih Youth for a Change in Surrey, funded in part by BC Council to Reduce Elder Abuse.
