The federal election on April 28, 2025 will have significant consequences for Canada’s 2SLGBTQIA+ population, elders, the economy, the environment, and more. An Advocacy Group who are members of QUIRK-E are deeply concerned about recent political rhetoric and attacks against queer and trans people, Indigenous peoples, women, and immigrants. We have identified a set of priority issues that speak to our interests, and we’ve rated the positions of the five major political parties on these issues.
We urge everyone to learn where the parties stand and consider the options carefully.
