Honour Walk
Meet at 11:00am at the Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Centre, 1719 Franklin Street, for light refreshments.
Walk begins at 11:30am.
September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
We [Britannia Community Centre] invite our community to gather with us at Grandview Park for a day of reflection, learning, culture, and connection as we honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the strength and resilience of Indigenous communities.
The day will include cultural and contemporary performances, an Indigenous market, and an Honour Walk from the Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Centre to Grandview Park.
Please wear orange and bring your drums if you have them.
