WAYSON CHOY advised and mentored QUIRK-E members, edited and wrote prefaces for two of our anthologies, and attended many group sessions. Wayson was a pioneer of Asian Canadian literature and an openly gay writer. He won many awards for his novels and was a member of the Order of Canada.
